This tends to be a very long and boring post for me to write but I feel the need to publish it anyway, simply because I’m proud of all the books I read in a year. It’s also nice to look back and see what I’ve been thinking about, because the topics raised in my reading material usually find their way into my daily conversations with friends and family. You can check out my lists for 2013, 2014, and 2015 should you  feel the need.

I’m wondering if people would be interested in seeing a ‘best of’ post from the past few years, highlighting some of my favourite books. Would that be fun? Comment below if you’d like to see it.

I should mention that I’ve been reading parenting books throughout the year that I don’t post reviews on, and I won’t include them in this list. Quite frankly I’m embarrassed that I read these kinds of books. I always told myself I wouldn’t do that before I had my daughter, but that went out the window pretty quick, along with old insistence on ‘showering daily’.
