I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing three amazing women last week, each just happened to be successful crime writers, and wonderful people to boot. As part of HarperCollins’s Killer Crime Club, they brought Rene Denfeld, Mel McGrath (pronounced McGraw!) and Gilly Macmillan to Calgary for an interview and signing at my local Chapters Indigo store (#Macleod Trail!).
Not sure what I’m up to here, but whatever. Here’s a picture of all 3 artists, me, and some wonderful Indigo staff.
I was a bit nervous that my questions weren’t going to be interesting enough, or too repetitive for these seasoned writers, but they were so gracious and had a ton to talk about on stage so to my great relief the conversation flowed smoothly, in fact we went a bit overtime because we were having so much fun!
To celebrate this successful event, I’ve got three signed books for one lucky winner! They are: The Child Finder by Rene Denfeld, Give Me the Child by Mel McGrath and Odd Child Out by Gilly Macmillan. I had to read all three to prepare for this interview, and thriller fans will not be disappointed because they are all fantastic reads.
