I’m tight on time these days (isn’t everyone at this time of year?) so I’m squeaking in these videos right at the tail end of my toddler’s nap. Or, in today’s case, her two hour lay around in bed, singing and reading books. Whatever, I’ll take whatever alone time I can get, especially because these days that alone time is spent reading and analyzing this short story advent calendar.
Aside from my review of this latest quirky tale (which I thoroughly enjoyed) I also admit to being especially pleased with Pearl and Smokey who have put a temporary hold on their peeing in corners, which I attribute to the extra camera time they’ve been receiving. I’m just hoping this doesn’t mean I have to record a youtube video with my cats every time I want them to pee in their litterbox.
I spent the day baking Christmas cookies. Fun but no time for reading and reviewing.

Also, your camera is a bit high. There were several moments when your face got cut off a bit. However, I feel like you had more confidence in this video (perhaps you aren’t worried that you’re repetitive anymore?). I enjoyed all the examples you gave and am considering getting this calendar next year!

Yes I need to lower the camera a bit, also my dad said I need to face the camera more, which is maybe why I seemed more confidant?

Smokey is so beautiful! I don’t understand why cats pee in the corner. We had one that did that and we ended up putting her outside and she has such a happy life now, lol. We only have outdoor cats now with the dogs being indoors.

Why thank you! I’ve heard from other ppl that making cats “outdoor” cats can sometimes help with this, but we live inner city so not sure that would work. Plus, Smokey and pearl are afraid of the wind…and temperatures below 10 degrees celcius

This story sounds like a lot of fun! I wish I could read it… Isn’t it crazy how many writers are out there that we haven’t heard of?!
I think that’s half the fun though-constantly discovering new writers that we enjoy! This calendar is a great way to do that.
