2018 Holiday Advent Calendar Unveiling: December 1
Welcome to day 1 of my short story advent calendar unveiling! Like last year, I’ll be opening up one new short story each day from my Hingston and Olsen advent calendar PLUS opening up my Godiva chocolate calendar as well. That means I’ll be posting a new video every single day until December 25! Smokey will be sure to make lots of appearances too if you get sick of my face.
In a few days my background will change to our Christmas tree…we just need to get it up. Stay tuned. And feel free to follow along on my other channels if you prefer:
Yay! Nick and I sat down and watched this together–deja vu of 2017! I almost died. When you said that your hair is usually in a top-knot, YouTube brought up another video from your channel–and your hair was all crazy and in a top-knot! It was like evidence of what you said, lol. How did I never notice Smokey has a mustache?? And I definitely want to see the Haribo bear advent calendar results. I love them.
The Haribo calendar will definitely be making future appearances, my husband put a picture of it on his instagram account and everyone’s really excited about it. Wait till you see today’s video…my hair is getting worse and worst…
Hurrah! You’re lookin’ good, girl! I think I’d quite like to be a sea monster, wouldn’t you? How was the chocolate??
The chocolate was good, but December 2 was even better chocolate! More tomorrow…
Loving the Short Story Advent Calendar already. This story really resonated with me. I posted a Haiku Review on Twitter (@cathyleipciger) yesterday that I thought I’d share here. I hope you enjoy it!
Echoes of past lives
Thoughts of selfishness linger
Love darting and unfurling
Love that Cathy! Thank you for sharing.
I love your advent calendar videos! Your comment about your hair is hilarious, by the way. :) I think this story sounds charming. I got an advent calendar for my son, with chocolates, but he doesn’t eat candy or chocolate – so I get to eat them! I just thought it would be a fun way to count down the days.
a child who doesn’t eat chocolate or candy??? Sounds like an angel
I don’t know how we’re related, LOL
This story sounds like so much fun! What a creative thing to write about. And imagine all the possibilities for past lives! I think it would be cool if we could remember past lives. A sardine is pretty boring, though – poor guy!
haha yes the sardine bit was quite funny. It was a very unique story, probably my favourite so far!
