Thanks for stopping by. My name is Anne Logan, and like you, I adore reading books. I’ve worked in the Canadian publishing industry since 2008, when I received my post-graduate certificate from the Humber Creative Book Publishing Program. From there I worked at the Canadian publisher Cormorant Books as their publicist, and then I moved to Calgary where I worked at Wordfest as their artistic associate and programming manager. Now that I’m a mother of two, I work from home, writing book reviews for various publications in addition to this blog, plus I’m the books columnist for CBC Calgary’s Homestretch and the CBC Calgary News at 6 broadcast. I’m the Past President of the Writers’ Guild of Alberta Board of Directors and I host various literary events around the city, including the monthly We’ve Read This book club, in partnership with Wordfest. I currently sit on the Board of Directors for Calgary Reads. The majority of the books I review on this blog have been sent to me from the publisher in exchange for an honest review, and all opinions are my own. Please follow along with me as I read the latest and greatest the book world has to offer!
