Emceeing Events
I have over 10 years of experience in hosting public events. In the past I have emceed book club gatherings, book launches, the Alberta Literary Awards, fundraisers, panel discussions and author interviews. If your event is outside of the greater Calgary area, accommodation and travel must be provided. If you are an event organizer, please contact me to discuss any hosting opportunities.
Book Marketing/Author Publicity Tutorials
I offer personal training and advice on book marketing for authors. I work with both traditionally published and self-published writers. In addition to one-on-one training, I also do presentations in-person or online. Topics include:
- the basics of publicity
- curating an online presence
- promoting your books to bloggers, influencers and literary festivals
- pitching your work to editors and producers
