New York Times “By the Book” Tag
Thank you to Jolie (aka Life of a Crazy Mom) for tagging me in this. I’m just starting to feel a part of the book blogging community, and these kinds of posts really go a long way in helping me find more book bloggers to connect with!
WHAT WAS THE LAST TRULY GREAT BOOK YOU’VE READ?
I loved the Witches of New York by Ami McKay.
IF YOU COULD MEET ANY WRITER – DEAD OR ALIVE – WHO WOULD IT BE? AND WHAT WOULD YOU WANT TO KNOW?
I’d want to meet Edgar Allen Poe to see if he is as creepy in person as his stories are.
HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE YOUR PERSONAL LIBRARY?
I don’t have my ‘books for keeps’ organized in any particular way, they are distributed throughout my house. The books that are sent to me for review consideration are kept on one specific shelf, and I *try* to keep them in the order that I received them.
WHAT BOOK HAVE YOU ALWAYS MEANT TO READ AND HAVEN’T GOTTEN AROUND TO YET?
Fifteen Dogs by Andre Alexis because its won like a billon awards.
DISAPPOINTING, OVERRATED, JUST NOT GOOD: WHAT BOOK DID YOU FEEL YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO LIKE BUT DIDN’T?
Everything that Jane Urqhart has ever written.
WHAT KIND OF STORIES ARE YOU DRAWN TO? ANY YOU STAY CLEAR OF?
I love family dramas, and I avoid romance.
IF YOU COULD REQUIRE THE PRESIDENT THE PRIME MINISTER TO READ ONE BOOK, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I’m going to go ahead and say The Crooked Heart of Mercy by Billie Livingston. She portrays characters who could be any and all Canadians, and will remind Justin Trudeau while care of the mentally ill is so important.
WHAT DO YOU PLAN TO READ NEXT?
I’ve had this book on my TBR shelf for awhile, but haven’t gotten around to it yet: The Wildings by Nilanjana Roy.
Ok, I’d love to see my new book buddy Becca from Beccaeatsbooks do this next!
Great answers ☺
Thank you for reading them!
How long has your blog been going?
Hmmm about three years now…hard to believe it’s been that long!
