  1. I just read a book by another author who does this same sweet thing: Leesa Cross-Smith. Her plots and characters make me roll my eyes, but the funny thing is her real life sounds exactly like the too-perfect characters she creates, so what do I know. 🤷‍♀️ I likely won’t read her again, but she’s out there.

    1. haha normally authors have crazy, weird sounding lives! Those who publicize that stuff anyway, I guess most live their lives out of the spotlight if they can. Yes, this book definitely made me roll my eyes, but I still enjoyed it.

  2. Nothing wrong with a little eye-rolling on-the-page; we’re inspired to do a lot of it off-the-page, too, so I guess it makes sense. :)

    I don’t think he’s really for me, but I still understand why his books are appealing, and I’m glad to know they’re out there, in case I do crave that kind of story.

    1. And there’s no shortage of them for you to choose from when/if you decide to pick him up! I recommend Anxious People, it was a good length.
