Video Book Review: Short Story Advent Calendar Re-Cap
Some of you may be wondering where my reviews of the 2019 Short Story Advent Calendar are, because in years past, I’ve posted a review every single day from December 1 to December 25. Well I’ve smartened up because it was just too time intensive to make a youtube video each and every day, so instead I’m going to make two videos, both summarizing my favourite stories of the calendar. In the video below I also review my chocolate advent calendar, which is my favourite (and cheapest!) so far: the Cadbury Dairy Milk calendar. Shout out to Laura from Reading in Bed who is also doing #SSAC2019, and Melanie from Grab the Lapels for encouraging me to keep at it!
haha yes you’re right, the calendar is pretty expensive, although I hardly spend any money on books so I don’t mind the cost. I agree that all the stories should be holiday themed-what a wonderful idea!!!
And yes, Ducky did make the tree! He was probably near the very bottom so my youngest could play with him without taking down the whole thing haha
Awww, that’s so sweet that your baby played with the Christmas tree ornament. :) I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
Thanks we did-hopefully you had a nice holiday too? Very relaxing?
Christmas was super nice. My husband and I made the Christmas Eve dinner together for everyone. We’ve developed this patter (after watching too many baking shows on Netflix) of me telling him a task and him saying, “Yes, chef.” So, my three-year-old niece decides she needs to help us making the lasagna — like, she’s gonna DIE if she doesn’t — and next thing I know I hear this tiny voice saying, ‘Yes, chef.” Be still, my heart!
Awwwww
