  2. Normally I love the idea of/potential of a “we” voice in a novel, especially with a workplace angle, but in this case it seems fraught with complications. How can one really represent the entire voice of one biological s*x: does one have to suspend any idea of inclusivity? But it sounds like there’s some attempt, given the different characters’ financial situations? Maybe I’m just taking it all too seriously. Probably. *sigh*

  3. And maybe it’s just from the women’s perspective who are all friends in the book? I don’t know, it was ambiguous…probably for good reason haha
