Holiday Advent Calendar Unveiling: December 18
So thankfully I liked today’s story more than the previous two; it’s a quirky little number that got me thinking, and I’m still pondering it now. I also have a surprise for you chocolate lovers (especially you, FictionFan!), because I just received a hefty Christmas gift that will most certainly lead me into the beginning stages of diabetes. I’ll have to try REALLY HARD not to eat it all at once!
*gasps and faints* A SACK of chocolate!!! I’m so relieved for you – the thought of you having to survive on these boring bell shaped chocs has been weighing me down. And see? Now you have a SACK of chocolate, you loved the story – clearly proving the mood-enhancing properties of choc all over again! Sadly I haven’t heard of Martin MacInnes (am I spelling that correctly?) but since he’s a fellow Scot I shall look out for him – this story sounds great… :D
I know right? All I want for Christmas is a sack of chocolate, and I got it!!! Do you guys have Lindt chocolates over there? Are you a fan?
We do! Mmm… yes! I love Lindt. But then I love almost any kind of chocolate except the really dark stuff.
it sounds like our chocolate tastes are really aligned—how do you feel about cadbury milk? It’s one of my favs!
Love it! But my fave is Galaxy – do you get it? Mmmmmm……..
Yes, Galaxy is harder to find here, but I really like it. I think had Galaxy quite a bit when I lived in Australia for a short time actually…
I showed my husband the 17th video in which you mention Duckie and then we watched the 18th together. His comment? “WHERE DID DUCKIE GO??” 😂 I haven’t heard of MacInnis either, but it sounds like he’s great at writing short fiction. I’m still most interested in the story told by the laptop.
Well my daughter has taken a liking to duckie, and decided she wanted to sleep with it. So..duckie is tucked in her bed somewhere, amongst other Christmas ornaments she’s slipped off our tree…
