Radio Segment: Cats, Cats and More Cats
So you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been reading a lot of cat books lately. I wasn’t just doing this because I REALLY LOVE CATS-I was doing this in anticipation of my cats book segment for the CBC this past week. I feel like book lovers and cat lovers are many times (but not always!) one and the same, so it made sense to search out some feline-friendly reads for my loyal listeners.
I focused on non-fiction for this column, speaking briefly about James Bowen’s The World According to Bob, The Lion in the Living Room by Abigail Tucker and The Inner Life of Cats by Thomas McNamee (review to come). If you listen to the segment here, you will also be treated to the description of my love of Lil’ Bub, and the story of why even my own toddler thinks I’m a crazy cat lady-although it takes one to know one, just sayin’.
Okay, I just spent a bunch of time watching Lil’ Bub videos – adorable!
A question after listening to your segment: if you’re supposed to have 3 litter boxes for 2 cats, what if you have many cats? I only have 2 right now, but i’m curious for the future in which I have many more. :)
Apparently the formula is one box for each cat, plus one
So, if you have four cats, you need five boxes-kind of gross but there you have it :)
Yikes!
