  1. Well you’ve definitely got me intrigued although like you I would wonder how he funded these crazy adventures. Glad to hear you enjoyed it, apart from when it got too philosophical…

  2. Haha – I’m one of the ones that got lost in the first paragraph, I fear! And the remaining paragraphs did nothing to get me found again. Glad you enjoyed it though! :D

    1. Hmm strange because I didn’t see it! Although Naomi mentioned it was difficult to comment on another one of my posts so who knows what’s going on.

The book you linked to sounds SO GOOD!. Right up my alley. I find reading books about motherhood so comforting because I realize I’m not the only one freaking out LOL

  3. I read this book a couple of months ago, but never got around to reviewing it. So here’s my chance to say what I want to say about it!
I was drawn in at first by his whole idea of being on the edge – was his mother alive or dead? I thought it was a unique way to structure the book. I also thought the writing was good and the philosophizing impressive for such a young ‘un. But by the end of the book I was tired of reading about his exploits. I felt like they were geared toward a different audience.

You did an awesome job reviewing it, btw! It wouldn’t have been an easy book to describe!
