My 1000th Post + A Little Update

Thank you to all my fellow bloggers, book lovers, and readers for sticking with me for 11 years of Ivereadthis.com! Hard to believe this is the 1000th post on here, as this time has flown for me. I’ve “met” wonderful bloggers from all around the world through this website, landed a monthly book segment on my local CBC show, and grown my relationships with publishers across North America, facilitating the hundreds of books a year that get dropped of my doorstep for review (and the thousands of spam emails I now receive monthly!). I’m a pretty lucky gal, because if it wasn’t for the free books this hobby would have bankrupted me by now. I have you, my readers to thank for this success.

This is beginning to sound like a goodbye post – which it’s not! You may have noticed I’ve been posting a little less frequently these days and that’s due to some ongoing vision issues which I hope to have resolved soon, plus, I’ve got a full-time job and busy family. Rest assured I’m still reading every day, just for not as long as I used to. My main update is that I’m moving off the WordPress platform, so for all of you who follow me through WordPress, you will likely need to subscribe to my blog in a different way. I’m not sure what that’s going to look like, but my address won’t be changing at all; it will remain ivereadthis.com and you can always subscribe to my newsletter through this link here. I send out a newsletter every 6-8 weeks (ish), which is basically just a summary of my review links of the books I’ve read since the last newsletter, plus a short update on bookish items. Quite simply, watch this space for the next few weeks and you’ll see some slight changes as my website migrates to a new host.
