2017 Summer Reads Threesome: Volume Two (aka my bookclub)

So now that my summer book club has successfully completed its first meeting, it’s time to turn our thoughts to our July meeting and book pick. In June we voted on what our next book would be; the choice was between Taylor Jenkins Reid’s The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Nicole Lundrigan’s The Substitute-the latter won by a huge margin. Check out my review of the thriller The Substitute here to get a good idea of what we’ll be discussing at our July 25 meeting.

Once you’ve done that you need to hit up the Wordfest website to buy tickets, they are only $5 and you get free treats once you arrive, not to mention some amazing bookish discussions so it’s a steal of a deal. And if you’re feeling particularly organized, you can purchase tickets to the August meeting as well, where we will be discussing Kate Hilton’s second novel Just Like Family.
