Last night my husband and I were at a basketball game at my college, and one of the player’s moms said she had her son at 19. She asked if we have kids. We do not. Then, like 15 minutes later (she must have really been thinking about our lack of children and getting jealous) she burst out, “Man, y’all don’t have kids?? Y’all must head a REALLY cool life.” I found that hilarious because cool isn’t the word I’d choose. I wanted to be like, “Yeah, we read a lot and watch The Great British Baking Show instead of Monster High.”
haha I would probably say the same thing though…like, I love my kid and stuff, but god to have all that time to myself just sounds amazing
