I think what stands out to me is it sounds like this story wants to be preachy. “Don’t be mean to others, folks!” But, what does the narrator take from it? She doesn’t even have a Grinch moment where she realizes she’s been a turd to her husband, or something like that. Then again, head the story come full circle and she learned something, I would definitely call the story cliche.
hahaha ok that’s a good way of looking at it, that’s why I love reading people’s comments because it forces me to look at things in a different way :)
