    1. That’s not funny. She’s going to grow up expecting…oh, wait, you kinda do make books magically appear, don’t you? :)

These all look cute. (I’m picking up my Family book at the library today!) I’d probably lean towards Pippa. She reminds me of Mercy Watson.

  1. Oh my God, I’m dying over here! Your poor three-year-old is too much of a wuss, you say! lolololol I want to hear more about two things: what in the book made your husband laugh out loud, and tell me more about these keggers.

    1. Ok: one of the lines is the ghost talking about his ghostey chore as ‘wearing old-timey clothes and shimmering in a top window of the house’ to scare people AND we used to have big keg parties in our backyard becuase my husband liked to brew his own beer, and he had a beer fridge with a tap on the top, so we would charge everyone ten bucks and have a bunch of kegs! Very fun times, until our neighbor yelled at us LOL

    2. My husband tried brewing beer once; you have to have just the right space for it or it takes over parts of your house. What fun!

When I first read the quote, I saw it as “shimmying” instead of shimmering, so I giggled too 😃
