    1. I loved these, too! They’re just so much fun. And I love that Diane and I are almost the same age! I have found myself getting bolder with age. (In my case, this doesn’t make me very bold, just bolder than I used to be. Lol) Luckily, I didn’t have to be left by my husband first!

    2. I find myself getting bolder with age too, and I think it’s partly because we care less the older we get haha

    1. Thanks Laila ;) It was taken about a year ago now actually hahaha, still during pandemic time of course

  1. I actually remember you reviewing Autopsy of a Boring Wife and being so interested in the title. What makes a wife boring? I had some ideas, mainly that she becomes a dependent rather than an individual: she’s someone’s mom, wife, sister, daughter, etc., but never an individual person.

    1. Diane most definitely grows into an individual in this book – in fact, I think she was always an individual – an individual with a sledghammer!

  2. I hope she tells her ex-husband to take a hike – I’d suggest she hit him with her sledgehammer but, unaccountably, it’s apparently against the law to splat philandering husbands… ;)

  3. I don’t know why, but I just don’t feel pulled to read this duo, even though I understand that both you and Naomi have loved them. And I loved her debut too. Oh….and her cute little cat series…
