  1. I’d have thought the cats would have been chasing that book all over the house! Mommy-lit… hmm! Sounds like fun, but I’m not totally convinced I’m the target audience… ;)

  2. Ooooh, your mommy lit comment reminded me of a semester when I taught fiction about abnormal domesticity, which was really fun! It can be dark, but it’s all focused on domestic spaces: For Sale by Owner by Kelcey Parker, The Dangerous Husband by Jane Shapiro, In the House by Lynn Kilpatrick, Baby by Paula Bomber, Cul-de-sac by Scott Wrobel. Excellent stuff!

    1. ohhh I love the idea of taking a course in abnormal domesticity!!! And I’m not surprised it’s so popular, it’s compulsively readable!

  3. Glad to read your review! I read this one and found it enjoyable. I wouldn’t say it was amazing, but it was a good read that gave me something to think about. I liked the ending. And I’m intrigued by the idea of an abnormal domesticity course as well!
