  1. “Am I dead?” That line changed the story for me, made me (over)think about things a little, but I do love me some magic realism. I loved the characters’ antics (Sab, the boobs, the dildo) and the dark’ish humour. It read very current, yet somehow of the past.

    It seems the author is an H&O fave. I noticed there was an interview with the author from 2015 on the H&O website:

  2. I would still eat it too! Yeah, I’m with you on the profanity. I hear enough of it without reading it too – it always seems lazy to me. It doesn’t offend me, it just bores me…
