  1. I was fortunate to get an early release of this book last year, and like you I really loved the complexity of the issues and the characters. Nothing felt simple, there were no clear villains or heroes, just people doing the best they could in very difficult circumstances.

    1. So true! Complex books like this stick with me for longer because it leaves more for us to decide as a reader…
