  1. Sadly the length would put me off this, even though you found it sped past quite quickly. I’m a great believer that horror works better in small doses, this being why I don’t get on with Stephen King either. However, I’ll be thinking about that “clot of infinite worms” for a while…!! 😱

    1. Well I just received three books in the mail FF that I know you will love. Biblioasis is a small canadian press that releases tiny little Christmas horror stories, all illustrated by Seth. Stay tuned for reviews of those!

  2. That example with the worms almost reminds me more of Grady Hendrix than Stephen King. Have you read Hendrix? I really want to read The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires. It’s a book club in a book, and you know book people love books with books, lol.

    1. I did read The Southern Book Club Book, it was good, I like his writing. Chuck Wendig is a bit darker than Grady but i can certainly see the comparison

  3. You do make this sound intriguing but I don’t see myself picking up a 500+ page horror novel any time soon. Another case of houses not to live in though…

    1. haha so true. Seems as though this page count is scaring people more than the content LOL

    1. haha you know luckily, my dreams are still ok, but I have noticed a low buzz of anxiety over a few weeks, and it was becuase of all this horror. I’m now done with reading this genre for awhile, believe me!

  4. Hahah. Funny photo this time. I think it must be fun to be a horror writer. All those short, pace-y chapters, scaring yourself silly in all the right ways…
