  1. I find one or two people in peril far more scary than loads of people being killed off, especially if there hasn’t been time for me to feel connected to them. Plus I don’t think I’m ready yet for deadly virus stories – not sure I ever will be!

    1. You should definitely check out this author Melanie! I really enjoyed her collection of short stories that I reviewed earlier too

    2. I’m behind on comments, but I am listening to this audiobook and eager to see how all the characters are connected. One connection (a photo with names on the back) came somewhat early on, but the others…I dunno yet.

  2. The author seemed to reuse repetitive lines, The amount of times they “knew something was up but they just couldn’t think what, if only they work it out”. that line seemed to be repeated in situations about 4 times!

    1. Oh I didn’t notice that when I was reading, but also not surprised! I find that’s common in plot driven novels…
