  1. It’s not so much knowing about these things, but knowing how to change them that matters – or at least being able to decide which should be changed. Every book seems to have a different set of opinions. The more we know, sometimes the harder it all gets…

    1. I see your point for sure, and this book has a distinct lack of solutions (lol). But in many cases, especially here in Alberta, people are in denial about the trouble our planet is in. I think that’s who this book is trying to reach, those who don’t actually think there’s a problem at all.

  2. Great review, this book wasn’t on my radar but I’m very curious about it now! It’s too bad Tong doesn’t leave the reader with a stronger conclusion, but it sounds like she’s addressing so many important things to be aware of. I think I’ll check this one out!

  3. I like learning uncomfortable facts. And I love the cover! But, yeah, I’m probably already in agreement of everything in the book.
    Great overview of the book! I didn’t realize it was about more than just the environment.
    Maybe she should have published three books – one for each section?

    1. I know, the book in its entirety was way better, I didn’t personally notice a bunch of mistakes but when I took a look at that particular quote, it was definitely cringe-worthy
